When water reaches 374°C (705°F) and 22.1 MPa,
it enters a
supercritical phase—a unique state where it is neither a
typical liquid nor a gas, but instead combines the best properties of both.

In this supercritical state: 

  • Complete Mixing Occurs: Oxygen and organic materials blend safely and perfectly.
  • Rapid, Total Oxidation takes place: Hazardous and non-hazardous organic contaminants including PFAS, are broken down and destroyed quickly, efficiently, and completely.

Versatile and Modular

AirSCWO provides a paradigm shift from the traditional, centralized end-of-pipe treatment to innovative, decentralized resource recovery. This decentralized solution is capable of treating a broad range of waste feedstocks rapidly, continuously, cost-effectively, and with unprecedented reliability.

The system comes in a range of sizes to match diverse waste processing needs. Thanks to its modular design, it is easily integrated into clients’ existing facilities or processes.

  • The AS1 is a compact unit with a maximum capacity of up t  1 wet ton per day (WTPD). The system is highly mobile and ideal for small-scale projects and applications.
  • The AS6 offers increased throughput up to 6 WTPD, suitable for medium-scale operations. The system is mobile and can be deployed on clients’ sites to handle stockpiled waste, eliminating the need, logistical complexity, and expense of coordinating transportation services.
  • The AS30 system is designed to handle up to 30 WTPD and will offer regional destruction services.
  • Once online, the AS100 will have the ability to process up to 100 WTPD
